**Team Overview and Job responsibilities**

The **NWC MV Product Development Engineer **is a key figure within the Medium Voltage Network Components organization and he/she will report to the team leader of the Product Development and will be based in the Milan headquarter (Bicocca Area), with travels to the plant in Cornimont, France.
- Product development (new products or evolution of the existing ones), using product performance and cost as key drivers
- Design of joints, termination and connectors (Medium Voltage cables accessories). These are the network components.
- Design and industrialization, that will include idea proposal, project planning and tracking, product design, prototypes manufacturing, type testing, product certification and homologation, product industrialisation

He/She will be part of a truly international team, and will cooperate with R&D and production in France, Asia and Latam.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Preferably from 3 to 5 years of working experience in a medium-large worldwide organization within R&D and product development, design and industrialization
- A Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred
- Fluent in French and English
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Self-motivated, quick and assertive;
- Analytical, precise and with a strong attention to the details;
- Time and Result oriented;
- Excellent writing and communication skills;
- Patient, pro-active and collaborative;
- Ability to maintain constructive work relationships with the employees of all the departments, executives as well as professionals;
- Able to work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
- Frequent travels to the factory at Cornimont France( (30%)
