**Sub Categoty Lead I**

**Purpose: The Category Lead is the primary relationship owner between TechnipFMC and our suppliers.**

**Job description**:

- Lead comprehensive sub-category strategies, ensuring best in class execution to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets, at a global level.
- Lead assigned sourcing projects including identifying and assessing potential new suppliers, negotiating, establishing, and updating of supplier agreements.
- Define capacity distribution and demand for different products / Sub-Category.
- Coordinate demand between suppliers and support tactical sourcing with execution.
- Supports establishing budget and Business case for Sourcing strategies and report progress

**Duties and Responsabilities**:

- Executes comprehensive sub-category strategies ensuring delivery of best in class SQDC results for assigned category at the global level.
- Leads Sub-Category Network, ensuring all Tactical resources within regional teams, are fully engaged and provides input to category strategy.
- Acts as Champions of the Sourcing Strategy. Constantly communicates the Sourcing Strategy to their stakeholders (design reviews, tenders, engineering).
- Leads assigned sourcing projects including identifying and assessing potential new suppliers, negotiating, establishing, and updating of supplier agreements.
- Responsible for the successful execution of the assigned tasks in close cooperation with the assigned team of resources.
- Supports plans and execution of Local Content.
- Coordinates demand between suppliers, support tactical sourcing in execution issues.
- Serves as an agent of change - driving performance through supply chain development.
- Encourages and stimulates teamwork across all business activities through co-operation, awareness, understanding and personal involvement. Demonstrates a “Can Do” attitude.
- Secures capacity for critical disciplines or products, at suppliers, through contracts.
- Establishes budget and Business case for Sourcing initiatives / Projects, and reports progress and status on a monthly basis.
- Manages suppliers performance in close partnership with Supplier Quality to ensure HSE reporting requirements are adhered to and zero LTIs approach is driven at suppliers.
- Reporting of any HSE issues into the reporting tool.
- Requests Technical and QHSE Audits and prepares required documentation for Supplier Review Board.

**Travel**:
Possible Global travel to suppliers or other TFMC sites.

**You are meant for this job if**:

- Business degree or equivalent, presentation and communication skills, writing tenders & contracts & using Microsoft office programs
- Strong initiative & self motivation, strategic planning, data-based decisions & working within a team
- Work experience within the oil and gas industry, Procurement related education (CIPS), Management & leadership.
- SAP Experience & team Leadership
