Your role: You will be responsible for the biotech drug product process development activities in Guidonia, you will lead biotech process development activities and helps set the strategy for it. Within this role, it is essential to collaborate with other Pharmaceutical Development sites and GD&L functions to define and align overall development strategies, and to collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality organizations to ensure seamless product delivery from discovery to commercial supply. You will contributeto strategic development of Global Pharmaceutical Development as part of Pharmaceutical Development leadership, ensureinnovation and continuous development of Drug Product process development and new process technologies, and ensureactive support for life cycle management of the drug product pipeline. You will promote utilization of Quality by Design in process development and ensures technical excellence in the field of biotech process development. Who you are: - Master's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology or equivalent; PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical or biochemical engineering, chemistry or related scientific field with 10+ years of industrial experience - Competent in the areas of Process Development and validation of Biotech Products and Drug Delivery, with strong fundamental understanding of physicochemical and biopharmaceutical properties and their importance in DP process design, validation, TT and scale up - Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical development, Quality by Design approaches and applied statistics, analytical techniques, production processes, GxP requisites, stability study - Fluent in English and Italian is a strong advantage **What we offer**: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
