**Local Trade Compliance Officer**:

We are looking for Local Trade Compliance Officer to join our Electrification business. The Local Trade Compliance Officer (LTCO) is responsible to ensure that all local business processes inside the IT regional Distribution Center (RDC) are aligned with ABB trade policies and guidelines. You will guide accountable RDC management in complying with trade related requirements as regards sanctions, export controls and Customs compliance and in pursuing strategic trade objectives.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Function as a single point of contact for trade related matters within the RDC Business and regularly updates RDC management and Country Trade Compliance Officer on (potential) risk areas and trade issues.
- Ensure correct classification of purchased third-party products, software and raw material.
- Control and maintain information received from Suppliers updating all the relevant Master Data Export/Import control.
- Be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the ABB Group Global Trade Program in its RDC and supports the Country Trade Compliance Officer in maintaining oversight and effective communication on trade related (regulatory) developments.
- Perform internal and external audit (Customs related). Continuously improvement approach on Trade and Customs Compliance topics and processes.

**Your background**:

- Knowledge of export control, Customs rules and regulations (willingness to learn).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in order to effectively communicate across all levels of Businesses.
- Business mind-set, responsiveness, strong sense of ownership, self-driven, willingness to explore.
- Team player with good communication skills, able of communicating in English and local language (of authorities) both verbally and in writing.
- Helpful, not mandatory: technical knowledge of products, software and applied technologies in the scope of the RDC (willingness to learn).
