**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
The Main Media Centre Operations Manager has the key role of managing and overseeing the daily operations of the MMC and IBC (International Broadcasting Centre), ensuring that all media service areas function smoothly and efficiently.

The role involves coordinating venue operations and logistics, supervising the maintenance and service levels from the Functional Areas of all broadcasting-related facilities, and addressing operational challenges, solving issues and escalate to the Venue General Manager when necessary. It also involves liaising with multiple departments to maintain a collaborative environment and ensure operational success. The role will play a key role in supporting the operations of the OBS (Olympic Broadcasting Services) and Media Rights Holders. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure, are essential for success in this role.

It will require working on a shift-based schedule, including evenings and weekends during Games time.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring all functional areas operate smoothly;
- Implement operational plans and ensure adherence to established protocols, policies and procedures;
- Supervise and support functional area managers, such as SEC, FNB, CNW, TEC, VDO and others;
- Deploy and manage staff and volunteers to fulfil operational roles;
- Respond to and resolve operational issues as they arise, ensuring mínimal disruption to events, and escalate when necessary;
- Monitor the quality of services provided and ensure they meet the standards set by the MICO26 Organizing Committee, Service Levels, Heath and Safety requirements and policies and procedures;
- Organize and deliver daily briefings with venue staff and functional area leads to review the day's event schedule, operational priorities, and any updates or changes;
- Ensure that all team members are aligned on their responsibilities, safety protocols, and any critical information;
- Plan, implement, and monitor daily checklist and reporting activities and combine information for daily reports (numbers, statistics, etc.);
- Coordinate external visits during Games Time by planning drop-offs, internal guest flows, events and other FA's involvement;
- Coordinate closely with the MMC Manager and Deputy Manager, as well as other key MMC and IBC Managers, to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration;
- Submit daily reports to the Main Media Centre Venue Manager;
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the MMC, troubleshooting issues, reporting and ensuring smooth workflows;
- Assist staff and volunteer management, including training delivery, scheduling, and on-site coordination. Management of the Venue Communication Centre and the team of IBC & VCC Supervisors and volunteers;
- Provide detailed reports and debriefs post-event, documenting lessons learned and key takeaways for future events.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships;
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow through on issues and actions;
- Ability to deliver to high standards under pressure, maintaining calm, proactive behavior and optimistic attitude;
- Strong communication and leadership skills;
- Implement policies and procedures;
- Experience in Venue Management;
- Experience delivering operations at international sports events, preferably in previous Olympic Games;
- Experience in team management;
- Good understanding of the needs of media working at major international sport events;
- Excellent written and spoken langu
