Aiming to strengthen our Automotive Division we are recruiting a

**BUYER - DIRECT MATERIALS**
Work Location: Modena area

**Role Overview**:
The selected resource - acting as part of a team aimed to give a qualified support to a Procurement Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high pitched professional standards - will contribute to the following activities:

- implementation and maintenance of suppliers panels;
- management of RFI / RFQ / RFA processes;
- negotiations w/ suppliers, taking into account the target costs as defined by Cost Engineering Dept.;
- assuring the right timings for supplies deliveries, in coherence with the production schedules;
- scouting, evaluation and qualification of new suppliers, in coherence with cost saving targets and assuring that KPIs are met under quality, reliability and on time delivery points of view;
- evaluation of existing suppliers;
- definition and implementation of corrective actions and recovery plans when needed.
**Qualifications **and **Technical Competency**:

- BSc / MSc Degree in Engineering / Economics or similar background;
- Minimum 1 year experience within complex, structured Procurement environments (any Automotive industry experience would be considered as a preferential asset);
- strong working experience within an international environment would be advantageous;
- excellent English communication skills (knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous);
