Organization and Talent Development Leader

**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

The Avio Aero Organization and Talent Development (O&TD) Leader is responsible for providing strategy, leadership and expertise for the full scope of organizational development, organizational design & effectiveness, cultural activation, leadership development, and leadership pipeline activities across the Avio Aero organization.

**Essential responsibilities**
- Identify organizational and talent development needs and develop programs to address those needs
- Act as an organization design coach, and play a key role in shaping the future of the organization by developing and implementing strategic initiatives/programs and organization design strategies
- Lead organizational and cultural change initiatives and action plans across the Avio Aero business
- Own and facilitate talent processes for the Avio Aero organization.
- Drive and execute succession planning within the organization, focusing on critical roles, developing talent maps and re-enforcing follow up on development plans and actions
- Develop deep understanding of key talent within the organization; facilitate talent sharing efforts across divisions to fill critical roles and create talent development opportunities.
- Partner across Aviation O&TD Council to design and implement talent and culture processes (e.g, performance, people leader development, Glint, I&D related activities)
- Oversee and coordinate local training strategy in partnership with the Aerospace Learning team
- The Avio Aero O&TD leader will also be the HR for HR HRM for the HR teams supporting Avio Aero

**Qualification/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Industrial /Organizational Psychology
- Significan and proven previous experience in human resources of increasing scope with specific experience in organizational and talent development
- Fluency in both English and Italian languages
- EU work permit required

- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively interface and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Global experience in HR or Talent Management with a large, multinational company
- An impact player with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner
- Able to energize and inspire others to commit to and take action on business prioritize
