**Job Description Summary**: AvioAero is reinforcing the focus to excellence in aeronautical field for Engine & Mechanical Transmissions (ie actuators, pumps, sensors, heat exchanger for engine actuation systems, turboprop and turbojet engines, engine accessory drivetrains, helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc).

In this spirit, we are looking for a talented and experienced Accessories Hardware owner and Design Engineer, expected to design, support production and customer in activities within the Controls and Accessories Engineering organization, related to control systems, gearbox and engine components.

The position is requiring important involvement into technical assessment, component design, technical document definition with high execution quality through a deep collaboration with the Engineering and System departments.

**Essential Responsibilities**

The Accessories Hardware Owner and Designer Engineer will be part of Engineering Accessories team. In this position she/he will be in charge to:

- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- Ensure Design and Hardware deliverables to internal and external customers embracing AvioAero Design Execution Quality within deadline agreed with Technical Leaders and Program Managers in all product lifecycle (from concept, through design, prototype and certification, to field introduction and sustaining)

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university
- Previous proven working experience, preferably in engineering section
- Experience on Fluidic and Mechanical components (Actuators, Pump, Valves, Filters, Pipes, Accessories, Sensors, Heat Exchangers, Electrical Engines)
- Proficiency in written and oral English and Italian
- Knowledge of Mechanical design, capability to lead analysis
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical disciplines
- Knowledge of CAD (modeling and drafting)
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Technical Presentation Skills (synthesis or details according to audience)
- Knowledge of Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
- EU Work Permit

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of aviation component certification process
- Knowledge of Fluidic and Thermal management Systems
- Capability to interface with internal departments and to manage technical relationship with external companies, Suppliers and Customers.
- Active Team working capabilitis
