Business Analyst

We seek a proactive Business Analyst with a background in the space industry who focuses on the upstream market. The role will involve surveying the existing and future upstream markets, updating internal financial projections, and supporting the business development team. The Junior Business Analyst will work closely with senior management to identify trends, assess market conditions, and develop forecasts to guide the company business strategies.

Duties and responsibilities
- Gather and analyse market data from internal and external sources to identify key trends and insights.
- Assist in forecasting market trends, sales projections, and competitive landscape shifts to support business planning.
- Validate market reports, search online resources and references to validate the report, create a reference list, and cross-check references with articles and publications.
- Collaborate with senior management to prepare reports, visualisations, and presentations communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop data models to support forecasting efforts and enhance the accuracy of market predictions.
- Engage and support during industry events such as trade shows and conferences to collect more data for internal forecasts
- Support Reporting on Business Development Activities
- support creating detailed reports and insights on business development progress.

**Qualifications**:

- Master in degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role (internships or relevant project work considered)
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting methods
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present findings clearly and effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time efficiently
- Experience working with governmental or institutional entities (i.e. ESA and ASI, DLR, etc)
- Experience working in a scale-up environment
- Strong proficiency in English and Italian (both written and verbal)

Ability and permit to reside and work in Italy Working conditions
