Global Leader Manufacturing Process Development

**The Role**:
As the Global Leader Manufacturing Process Development - Inverter, you will add value by developing, standardizing and implementing standards for Inverters in Stage C and D of Product Industrialization. Adds Manufacturing Know How and expertise in Stage B for concept and supplier development for Build to Specification (BtS) and Build to Print solutions (BtP) of Inverters. Aligns Manufacturing / Industrialization relevant items between suppliers and inhouse Product Industrialization (3in1 solutions). Establish the conditions for Inverter assembly and integration of Box and EMS solutions. Screens industrial peers for updates and innovation in process developments. Responsible for Know How Transfer between Process Development Hub and Production Locations. Develops and implements Standards and Procedures in line with Automotive SPICE and TISAX requirements.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Development and Release of Assembly & Manufacturing Process Standards related to Inverter (Assembly, Hardware, Software flashing, Communication & Controls)
- Setting up of Process Specification & Requirements in alignment with ENG, Quality, EMS and suppliers;
- Alignment with ME plants globally: consolidation of already existing know-how and lessons learned;
- Assessment of Process Key-Cost-Drivers;
- Assessment of Process Flow, Capacity, Footprint, Capex, etc.
- Considering Process Cost-Drivers, e.g., Process Flow, Level of Automation, Best Practice Greenfield & Brownfield, Reuse & Flexibility;
- Define a specification regarding Process Repeatability/Capability in agreement with Quality-department;
- Identify during project quoting phases if Product Design is in line with Process Standards, by supporting CQT-Team in preparation of BOM (incl. surrogate database), definition of capex / capacity (greenfield, utilized) / process-costs, etc.;
- Global Contact Person for local Manufacturing sites in reference to processes and their standards;
- Align with ENG to make sure, that Product design is developed hand-in-hand with Process Standards;
- Keep up to date in terms of market technology development;
- Support Know-how transfer projects;
- Align with Procurement on equipment Supplier strategy and CapEx;
- Drive Problem Solving & Continuous improvement actions;
- Support Process FMEA together with ME/ENG/Quality.

**Who you’ll be**:
To be successful in this position, you should be a m anufacturing expert with an extensive proven experience within the Automotive industry.

**Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required**

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Master of Mechatronics Engineering, Process & Automation or similar;
- Work experience from comparable technical field with competence in process industrialization requirements;
- Understanding of Automotive SPICE requirements and Ways of Working;
- Understanding of APQP requirements in Inverter handling and industrialization.
