**BE THE STRATEGY BEHIND THE GAME.**:
We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our B2B and Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing the monthly close for one subsidiary of DraftKings, managing all accounting operations, and playing a pivotal role in payables processing. You’ll address any ad hoc issues and work closely with internal and external stakeholders regularly. Sound good to you? Join us.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A STAFF ACCOUNTANT**:

- Support bank reconciliations for the month-end close of DraftKings’ subsidiaries.
- Ad hoc transactions for the month-end closing process.
- Create and post journal entries during the month
- Coordinate with third parties regarding payment status and work with the Treasury Team to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor the flow of invoices through our accounts payable system and address critical issues with internal stakeholders.
- Review the AP Subledger and ensure all invoices are appropriately classified, approved, and posted.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- An extremely organized and detail-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
- Good command in English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience with NetSuite Accounting Software, Coupa or other ERP system is considered a plus.
