YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage Drivetrain system design and be the responsible of the development & validation for specific new drivetrain Innovation projects.
- Project management: prepare time plan as per Innovation TRL based process, estimate resources and budget, regular project status review, identify critical paths, in collaboration with the team responsible
- Own, manage and release the new drivetrain system requirements and specifications, BOM, including its associated cost working together to CNH Value Analysis.
- Analytical skills to analyze concepts in preliminary way, still sufficient to highlight potential and advantages at early stage.
- Coordinate his/her activity with different functions inside CNH and suppliers as required to obtain project results.
- Experience with DFMEA of mechanical components, as contributor and leader.
- Prepare Pro-Active Plan and Validation plan (virtual and physical)
- Prepare design review plan and manage the design release report, ensuring the correct actuation of activity
- Interface with internal CNH engineering team for vehicle system performance & integration.
- Present project status to peers and management in regular reviews.
- Embrace Innovation mindset to promote and encourage new technology and be creative
- Travel estimate 10-15%

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Masters (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in drivetrain design.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in drivetrain lead engineering position, including proved project management abilities
- Knowledge of the automatic transmission (CVT and powershift)
- Experience with the following development tools: TCAE, Creo suite, Office package
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills including the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Good knowledge of the BOM structure and of the Release process.
- Strong attitude to work with discipline and with well organized and structured reporting.
- Attitude to work in team.
- Fluent English.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the tractor mechanics and of the tractor subsystems
- Experience with the one or more of the following development tools: Matlab, Simulink, Amesim
- Agricultural background or proved experience in off road machinery engineering.
- Basic Knowledge of the electric machines (type of technology, performances, characteristics).
- Basic Knowledge of the energy storage system (battery, supercaps) and power electronic
