**JOB PURPOSE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

As an IT Procurement specialist, you will support the head of the department, in supporting senior members of the team in managing different activities such as:

- Prepare the order, following Company procedures;
- Supporting procurement team in creating and managing purchase orders on Sap related to hardware and software purchases, services and consultancy services.
- Together with IT Reference and Governance team, evaluate supplier performance and qualify suppliers;
- Monthly final accounting operation management;
- Receive and ask offers from suppliers verifying that they are in compliance with the requirements established in purchasing procedure;
- Request to the supplier to quote alternative technical solutions whenever possible;
- Purchase order handling and Administration follow up;
- Maintenance of an effective filing system for documents;
- Coordinating with different stakeholders;
- Maintenance of the suppliers list;
- Purchasing process optimization;
- Invoices check and storage;
- Communicate to internal customers and stakeholders and ensure knowledge transfer to the assigned units and interface partners;
- Purchase offer request and management with related PO creation and delivery tracking.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics

Fluency in Italian and English

Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP

Ability to work with cross functional teams

Problem solving, flexibility and supplier approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite

Service Now knowledge is a plus

Previous experience working for IT business is a plus
