You’ll collaborate closely with commercial teams, tax advisors, and external auditors, while owning budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses. This role is perfect for someone with a few years’ experience at a Consulting/Audit firm, ideally followed by exposure to a commercial finance environment, who’s looking to step into a highly visible in-house finance business partnering role. Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness to support the achievement of company objectives. **Key Responsibilities** - Interface with external **tax advisors and auditors**, coordinating documentation and delivering clear explanations of our financials - Monitor actual performance vs. **budget/forecast**, identify variances, and propose corrective actions - Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for Italy - ** Partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations** to translate business objectives into financial targets, KPIs, and actionable insights - Support compliance with Italian tax legislation and **corporate governance** requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Support ad hoc projects,** including M&A** due diligence, cost optimization initiatives, and system implementations - Promote and maintain a collaborative relationship between the Italian business and the Global Finance functions, ensuring seamless cooperation and information flow **Qualifications** We are looking for** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in Finance, ideally in a Consulting/Audit firm and in a financial controller role - Strong technical foundation in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial modeling - Comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment, managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy - Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate complex financial data into clear business-focused insights - Hands-on experience liaising with external auditors and tax advisors - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - High level of ownership, proactivity, and curiosity - Fluent in English and Italian **Additional Information** What we offer**: Total compensation aligned with your experience Stock options Plan after 6 months ‍‍Welfare for you and your family Ticket restaurant Self care platform access Smartworking policy, based in Rome
