IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Researcher at any stage of career to join the Stem Cells and Neurogenesis Unit at the Division of Neuroscience of the San Raffaele Hospital to work on the project “Prader-Willi syndrome: modelling, epigenetic therapies and immunological dysfunctions”.

**Description**:
The project will be carried out in a multi-disciplinary environment at the crossroads between genomics, cellular biology, disease modeling, and epigenetic experimental therapies. Involvement in other ongoing projects in the lab will be encouraged providing an opportunity for stimulating and rewarding scientific collaborations.

**Main research activities**:
To assist a Senior Scientist in the research activities that includes:
1) Exploiting patient-derived iPSCs to study the pathophysiological mechanisms of the disease;
2) Mastering CRISPR/Cas9 technology to develop new therapeutic approaches for the disease:
3) Employing next-generation sequencing and other omics to delineate the molecular dysfuctions underlying the disease;
4) Competitive salary depending on qualification and experience;
5) A dynamic and stimulating environment fostering scientific growth;
6) A number of facilities supporting research work.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Master Degree in Biomedicine, Biotechnology or similar/equivalent;
- Background in neuroscience and/or cell and molecular biology;
- Experience in laboratory research;
- Research planning and organization skills;
- Good communication skills in English.

**Work details**:

- Type of contract will depend on the seniority and research experience of the applicant;
- Duration: up to three years;
