- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Internship - Asset Integrity Trainee** to join its office in Rome within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

**Mission**
- The Asset Integrity Intern will be trained on Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) program under the guidance of Senior colleagues. #LI-MB4**Key Accountabilities**
- As an Asset Integrity Intern, you will have the opportunity to be trained on a variety of critical activities that are integral to the success of our Energy Asset Integrity department:
- **Assistance in Risk Assessment**:

- Collaborate closely with senior engineers to conduct comprehensive risk assessments of equipment and infrastructure, employing established RBI methodologies.
- Actively participate in identifying potential failure modes, their consequences, and probabilities of failure associated with various assets.
- Support data collection and analytical efforts to assist in effective risk ranking and prioritisation.
- **Data Management and Documentation**:

- Help maintain and enhance RBI databases, and ensure the meticulous updating of inspection records and relevant documentation.
- Uphold the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of RBI data to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Aid in the organisation and filing of essential reports, risk assessments, and inspection planning materials.
- **Inspection Planning Support**:

- Assist in the creation of risk-based inspection plans in alignment with guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute towards determining suitable inspection techniques, frequencies, and intervals based on outcomes of thorough risk assessments.
- Engage in efforts to optimise inspection schedules to reduce downtime while maximising asset integrity.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Continuously expand your knowledge of RBI methodologies, inspection techniques, and relevant industry standards.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and competencies.
- Seek guidance and mentorship from senior engineers to accelerate personal and professional growth.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Foster effective communication with team members and stakeholders to relay updates on work progress and project status.
- Demonstrate a proactive, enthusiastic approach to learning, building teamwork abilities, and pursuing professional development opportunities.

**Education**
- Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering**Qualifications**
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex technical data effectively.
