The Role

GA-Alliance is seeking a talented and motivated attorney/trainee to join its
Banking & Finance practice in Rome
. The successful candidate will be involved in complex financing transactions, supporting both domestic and international clients. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating banking and finance documentation;
• Assisting on due diligence matters;
• Assisting in structuring and executing corporate, real estate, and acquisition finance deals.

You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, alongside leading professionals in the field, contributing to innovative legal solutions in a fast-paced and evolving market.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced trainee / qualified attorney with
1–3 years of experience
in banking and finance law. The candidate will be actively involved in:

• Drafting and negotiating amongst others:
• term sheets and facility agreements;
• security packages;
• other finance and ancillary documentation;
• Conducting due diligence and managing documentation for corporate finance transactions.

Key Requirements

As an experienced Trainee/Associate in the Banking & Finance Team, you will support senior team members in all phases of domestic and cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent academic credentials, with a final grade above 105/110;
• 1–3 years of experience in banking and finance transactions (acquisition, leveraged, and real estate finance);
• Strong skills in drafting and negotiating banking documentation;
• Experience in due diligence;
• Proficiency in English;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Candidates with relevant internship experience in banking and finance may also be considered.
