**Role Overview**

As a **Procurement Specialist**, you will implement integrated procurement strategies to support company objectives, manage procurement cost records, ensure departments follow the correct procurement flow, support them as needed, optimise buying activities for timely, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries, and continuously monitor and report on key procurement metrics. You will report to the Head of Procurement, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and fostering cost efficiencies and operation effectiveness.

Your mission:

- ** Suppliers’ contract management. **Manage our online Contract Management System to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness.
- ** Manage procurement costs.** Update and maintain an accurate record related to procurement costs, ensuring precision and up-to-date information.
- ** Ensure compliance in procurement flow.** Support departments in adhering to the correct procurement flow and assist as needed to ensure compliance.
- ** Optimise buying activities and monitor key metrics.** Guarantee timely deliveries, cost-effectiveness, and process compliance. Continuously monitor and report on key procurement metrics to ensure optimal performance.
- ** Support and advise departments.** Ensure that departments making purchases follow the correct procurement flow, providing support and guidance when needed.
- ** Continuous improvement.** Continuously monitor and report on key metrics related to procurement operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency.

Your ideal profile:

- ** Educational background and relevant experience. **You possess a bachelor’s degree in law, business administration or a related field. 1+ years of experience in administration, legal study, or procurement; experience in operational efficiency and cost management is a plus.
- ** Passionate about contract management. **You are a meticulous reader and you deep dive into contracts clauses.
- ** Strategic thinking and leadership. **You demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
- ** Negotiation and market understanding.** You bring excellent negotiation skills with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
- ** Communication and relationship building. **You are an excellent communicator and able to convey complex details to teams and vendors. You can nurture positive ties with vendors and internal stakeholders. You have a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive collaboration.
- ** Language proficiency. Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written. **Knowledge of other European languages is considered a plus.
