Position Overview:
The Fixed Income Product Development Manager is responsible for developing the new range of fixed income derivatives products of Euronext in the objective to enlarge the product offering and develop new revenue pools. This role requires a good knowledge of the fixed income market and the capacity to drive new initiatives and collaborate with different teams. As Fixed Income Product Development Manager you will need to have the ambition to grow a business leveraging on client feedbacks and the Euronext existing trading and clearing infrastructure. You will report to the Head of Product Development and Market Infrastructure, joining a truly European team of circa 10 people across France, Italy, UK, Norway and the NL.
Work Location: Milan or London
Key Missions:
- Manage existing fixed income derivatives products as well as the development of new ones in line with the strategic roadmap to achieve business priorities
- Conduct competitor analysis for fixed income derivatives product offering, trading functionality, pricing to recommend improvements to enhance Euronext’s market position and create new products
- Codesign new products with clients, based on the industry feedbacks
- Oversee the development new products in close cooperation with internal project teams, IT, regulation, market surveillance, post-trade, and finance
- Maintain and develop relationships with Euronext sales and client services teams in the objective to co-design products with clients to ensure a detailed understanding of the opportunity and the product features which will enable trading.
- Pilot product launches in coordination with sales and marketing teams
Core Skills:
- Strong experience in product management or business development within fixed income derivatives, with knowledge of the full product development lifecycle
- Knowledge of the buy-side and sell-side landscape
- Experience in translating business needs into written functional requirements for the IT counterpart, working closely with them to ensure mutual understanding and fast pace alignment
- Ability to manage & drive projects autonomously: structured, ability to build & monitor planning, manage priorities, identify and mitigate risks
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills, an ability to combine attention to detail with the wider strategic view.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Collaborative, open, pragmatic, customer oriented and data driven approach to work.
Profile Sought:
- 5+ year experience in the fixed income space, in product management or development
- Derivatives contracts knowledge and understanding of the European Exchange industry dynamics is highly desirable.
- International business experience, with the ability to develop products across multiple geographic locations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented and numbers-driven approach.
