Eli Lilly Italia is looking for a motivated and proactive **Continuous Improvement Intern** to join one of our production departments (Packaging, Formulation, Filling, or Visual Inspection) at the Sesto Fiorentino manufacturing site. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to key process improvement initiatives.
The selected intern will report directly to the Operations Manager of the assigned area and will be actively involved in supporting production activities. The primary focus will be on developing an efficient planning system, identifying areas for process optimization, and defining operational parameters that enhance performance and efficiency. This internship will be based primarily on the production floor, offering the opportunity to closely interact with cross-functional teams, including Production Supervisors, Quality Assurance, and shop floor personnel.
**Key Responsibilities**
- ** On-site Data Collection**: Observe and engage with the pre-filled syringe formulation process, gathering real-time data from production.
- ** Process Analysis**: Analyze collected data to identify improvement opportunities and optimize production efficiency.
- ** KPI Management**: Develop, organize, and monitor key performance indicators to ensure optimal manufacturing performance.
- ** SOP Updates**: Contribute to the review and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment between documented and actual practices.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, CTF, or Biology
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with solid organizational abilities
- Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills
- The internship includes a monthly allowance of €1300, along with free access to the company cafeteria and canteen._
