**About the Role**

SAP’s Private Equity business is seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our team for 3 months, focusing specifically on the venture capital (VC) ecosystem. The goal is to identify, map, and engage with VC-backed portfolio companies to drive the adoption of SAP’s Public Cloud ERP solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of enterprise software, venture capital, and business development, while gaining exposure to global go-to-market strategy within a leading tech company.

**Duration: 3 months (Full-time/ 40 hours per week)**

**Key Responsibilities**

Market Mapping & Intelligence:

- Research and build a comprehensive view of key VC firms, their investment focus areas, and portfolio companies in relevant growth sectors.
- Identify fast-growing portfolio companies with potential ERP needs.

Engagement Strategy Support:

- Assist in developing tailored messaging and value propositions for VC-backed companies.
- Help design outreach strategies targeting both VC firms and their portfolio companies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Support collaboration with internal SAP stakeholders across sales, marketing, and partner teams to align on VC engagement strategies.
- Coordinate with SAP’s industry and cloud solution experts to align customer needs with SAP Public Cloud ERP capabilities.

Data & CRM Management:

- Support the tracking of VC firm relationships, portfolio engagement status, and opportunity pipeline in CRM systems (e.g., SAP CRM, Salesforce).

Go-to-Market Enablement:

- Contribute to the creation of internal enablement materials to support SAP field teams when engaging with VC-backed prospects.
- Help organize webinars, briefings, and marketing activities tailored to the VC ecosystem.

**Position Requirements**
- Student currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or graduate-level students preferred).
- Your Italian and English levels are fully professional, spoken and written
- Strong interest in venture capital, technology startups, and enterprise software.
- Analytical and structured thinker with strong research and data handling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with cloud ERP and/or SaaS business models is a plus.
