A small company, part of an international group in the education industry, is looking for its first **Finance and Financial Statements Manager** in Florence.
The Finance Manager reports directly to the Cluster Manager situated in another European country.
All interview process with the Company will be in English, so we are looking for someone who is **fluent both in Italian and English**.
**Posizione**:
You will be an experienced and skilled finance and financial statements manager, who had previously supervised a **small team**, followed company's guidelines and managed all the financial, budgeting, cost controlling and reporting activities. You need to be able to work indipendently and be responsible for your work.
**Main Activities**:
FINANCE
Financial integration of the Italian company into group policies.
Implementation of new systems and processes for all administrative and financial activities.
Periodic reporting of cashflow, invoices and other KPIs
Maintaining all financial accounts and performing financial analysis, pricing and recording of events.
Cost controlling and capital expenditure monitoring.
Preparation of all financial and statistical returns fwithin statutory deadlines.
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Preparation of monthly taxes and collaboration in annual taxes.
Review and collaboration in the annual accounts.
Preparation of budget and forecasting.
Review of balance sheet and P&L accounting.
CONTROLLING
Cost controlling and reporting
**Requisiti**:
**_Study level: _**Degree in Economics or equivalent knowledge

Languages:_** Fluent in Italian. Must be fluent in English as well, for regular interactions with the Head Office. Other European languages are considered a plus
**_
IT:_** Strong understanding of the most common Office software and reporting tools (e.g. Excel). Ideally a good knowledge of some of the main accounting software
**_
Attitude and soft skills: _**We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, tech-savvy and skilled finance specialist, who masters the principal financial activities. They have a strong analytical mindset together with great drive to do well and to grow in the position.
They will lead the implementation of a new accounting software and will be responsible for the training of their team. They will also be able to level up the Italian branch to the accounting and financial policies and procedures of the international Group.
Working in a worldwide Group and reporting to the Finance Cluster Manager in another country, they need to be able to work independently within clear guidelines. They will work in the Florence office overseeing a team of 2 accountants and in close contact with the local Business Manager.
Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills are required, combined with commitment and passion for the job.
They need to be passionate about the role and strongly motivated to join the company.
