For a company backed by a top-level Private Equity fund, a digital high growth branded ecommerce player, we are looking for a

**GROUP CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER - Ref. GTO/VE**

**Main tasks and key responsibilities**:

- Lead strategic technological planning to achieve the Company’s goals by prioritizing technology projects and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of all technologies;
- Establish long-term system and technology needs and plan and develop strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs;
- Manage the maintenance of the entire internal stack (HW, network, security, etc.);
- Design and implement an efficient technology architecture between CMS/WMS/ERP/BI;
- Manage relationships with system integrators and tech providers;
- Develop advanced customer analytics to sustain customer base extension and cross selling;
- Manage resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics;
- Develop, implement, and control the IT budget;
- Oversee recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all technical staff following corporate budgetary goals and personnel policies;
- Ensures comprehensive oversight of all cyber security aspects to the business;
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc;.
- Report periodically to the PE firm.

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Previous experience and responsibility in CTO role in an ecommerce business;
- Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles;
- English and Italian knowledge: fluent proficiency;
- Proven understanding of front-end and back-end web development technologies and
principles;
- Previous experience in working with a PE-backed company is a plus.

- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity;
- Empathy, team and peers management.
