The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring legal compliance across all employment-related matters

while providing expert guidance on labor law, employee relations, and risk management. This role serves

as a key advisor to leadership and HR teams, ensuring alignment between Italian labor legislation and

Foundever's global HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

Employment Law & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Italian labor legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and

regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor changes in employment law and proactively advise leadership and HR stakeholders on

potential impacts and required actions.

  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and

employment documentation in line with legal requirements.

Employee Relations & Case Management

  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances,

investigations, and terminations.

  • Provide expert guidance on performance management processes to ensure legal soundness and

consistency.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for sensitive cases, ensuring fair treatment and risk mitigation.

Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and operational teams on

labor law and employee relations matters.

  • Support negotiations with works councils, unions, or employee representatives when applicable.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, labor authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Identify employment-related legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to labor compliance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping to support legal defensibility.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Deliver training and guidance to managers and HR teams on labor law, employee relations, and

best practices.

  • Promote consistent and compliant application of HR policies across the organization.

Qualificaltions and Competencies

Degree in Law (mandatory); specialization in Labor or Employment Law is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in employment law, HR legal advisory, or employee

relations roles.

  • Strong, practical knowledge of Italian labor legislation and employment practices. xbvzest
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is an advantage.
  • BPO experience preferred
