We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we're looking for an
ECS Business Development Intern
to join our Business Development team within the newly constituted multi-country, multi-brand & omnichannel coffee player, ECS (part of the Lavazza Group), based in Milan.
The selected candidate will support the team in performing sales analyses to guide strategic business decisions, mainly focusing on the OCS & Vending business. This involves analyzing sales data, market trends, pricing strategies, and historical promotions and events to measure and assess their impact on sales, as well as developing accurate sales forecasts.
Your main activities will include
- Keeping track of KPIs and metrics to measure sales performance against forecasts and targets, identifying variances, investigating the reasons behind them, and generating reports for management
- Performing analyses on sales data and market trends to evaluate both performing and underperforming products and uncover actionable insights that inform business decisions
- Working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, PMO) to align sales forecasts with overall business strategies and operational capabilities, and to provide input on promotional and event activities
- Conducting analyses on pricing strategies for both the company and competitors to understand the impact of pricing on sales and profitability
Who We're Looking For
- You're available for a six-month full-time internship, starting in January 2026
- You're fluent in Italian and English
- You hold a Master's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- You have a good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
