We are seeking a bright and motivated Trainee Lawyer to join our Litigation team in Milan. In this role, you will work closely with senior associates and partners, assisting them in advising leading national and international clients across a range of industries. You will gain practical experience throughout all stages of litigation, including providing support in pre-contentious and contentious matters, drafting legal documents and appeals, and handling electronic filings with the clerk's office. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and be actively involved in complex and rewarding cases from start to finish.

About The Role
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in complex, commercially focused dispute resolution and a solid academic background. While prior experience is not required, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn in an international environment are essential. We're looking for someone who works well both independently and as part of a team, demonstrates personal commitment, a proactive learning attitude, and an energetic, entrepreneurial mindset. Candidates must possess an excellent command of both Italian and English.

Your main duties will include assisting in drafting dispute-related documents, managing deadlines, electronically filing legal briefs, and handling the service of process along with all practical activities involved in civil proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to participate in hearings and client meetings alongside the associate or partner responsible for the matter. Additional responsibilities include conducting case law research, analyzing contractual agreements and other case documentation, and collaborating closely with both senior and junior team members.

Through these tasks, you'll gain valuable exposure to various aspects of dispute resolution while actively contributing to the team's broader objectives and building client relationships.
