Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Technical Analyst, you'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan. Together, we work on payment critical services. The team develops and maintains various services as Instant Payments, SEPA Payments, Verification of Payee and more.

Within the team, we are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst with a knowledge of the Payments ecosystems, able to take in charge requests coming from the Business/Functional Analyst and manage all the phases of the software development lifecycle. Will be also involved in supporting the integrations with other teams and applications

About Your Future Role
In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Technical Analysis: Assess business and system requirements to identify the most efficient and effective technical solutions.
• Technical Solution Design: Design and implement reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet performance and security standards.
• Application Maintenance: Oversee and support the maintenance of running services to ensure stability and continuous operation.
• Problem Determination: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues and improve system reliability.
• Operational Support: Assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of ongoing tasks and processes.

Essential Qualifications

• A Technical School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Solid knowledge of Java programming, including microservices architecture and on-premises systems.
• Proven experience working with critical applications that demand high performance, scalability, and availability.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and analytical approach.
• A positive team-oriented attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Jira and/or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks.
• Understanding of basic security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data analysis solutions.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
