Clinical Application Specialist
for our ultrasound line.
The area of expertise will be mainly central and southern Italy, so residence in the provinces of Rome or Naples is preferable. However, it may also be assigned to support activities throughout the country.
The most important qualities for this person are unwavering curiosity, proven track record in clinical applications, as well as product management in Diagnostics Ultrasound medical device industry in Italy, dog eared determination and an eye for continuous improvement, all ideas are welcomed in our team and, as an integral part of the wider business, you have a platform to truly deliver excellence.

Your Responsibilities
- Conduct product presentation for the assigned product portfolio
- Support of KOL in the different specialists to further facilitate clinical evaluations as well as the sales references
- Educate and train sales team for medical and scientific knowledge of the product.
Essential Duties
- Develop and maintain contacts with KOLs in the medical community including specialist and in other fields or market segments R&D is interested in to drive demand
- Strong and effective rapport with KOLs, pool of speakers and leaders of relevant medical societies
- Work closely with sales and marketing team for new product launch and promotion
- Facilitate with customer education & product promotion (Seminar, Symposia, Congresses, Webinar etc.)
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of scientific/clinical data and literature related to relevant product, competitor products, diseases areas, and effectively transfers appropriate clinical/ scientific information to external customers or key BA personnel for business-related or educational purposes
- Integral involvement in the generation and provision of business support information, including key competitor monitoring, market information for assigned product (sizing, share and trends), and fact bases to support business decision making in this market segment
- Work with Marketing Manager in the monitoring and analysis of product performance against plan
- Active participation in sales and marketing training
- Introduction of new & strategic products to customers (focus products and products relevant to local market)
- Provide scientific articles and product updates both internally and externally
- Communication with Regional Clinical Manager
- Prepare and submit all required reports in a timely manner
- Carry out special projects when required from time to time
- Adhere to all relevant internal and external guidelines and policies
What are we looking for in you?
- Bachelor's Degree in biomedical/Science/Marketing disciplines
- A comprehensive proven track record in clinical application as well as product management in Diagnostics Ultrasound Medical Device industry Italy
- Contacts and Versatility in medical community
- Native Italian Speaker, good communication and interpersonal skills in English
