Description

The
R&D Manger
will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development and formulation of new cosmetic products with a hands-on approach
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, and Production to ensure innovation and industrial feasibility
  • Supervise laboratory teams (powders, emulsions, anhydrous) and actively contribute to daily lab activities
  • Manage supplier and client relationships, including regulatory aspects
  • Oversee technical documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Support Quality Control and Assurance in complaint handling and corrective actions
  • Ensure efficient procurement and inventory of lab materials
  • Promote a culture of safety in line with Legislative Decree 81/08

Profile

  • Proven experience in the cosmetic industry, with at least 10 years in a similar role
  • Master's degree in Pharmacology, Biology, or other relevant scientific disciplines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the cosmetic raw materials and active ingredients market
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in the cosmetics sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
