We are hiring for the Italian Operations Team to support the General Manager in launching and growing Bolt's ride-hailing vertical in Italy. Within the team, each Senior Operations Specialist will own a set of topics critical to the launch and expansion of the market, ranging from supply (including acquisition, engagement, and retention) to marketplace performance and localization of Bolt's services for drivers and riders.

The role is designed to rapidly expand in scope and responsibilities as the Italian market grows. Regardless of functional focus, we are looking for data-driven and passionate individuals who are eager to grow quickly in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will deliver results with a strong bias for action, a high bar for excellence, and an "invent and simplify" mindset.

About the role

The functional scope of the role will be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and business priorities, with a focus on two main areas: supply (including acquisition, engagement, and retention of B2C drivers and B2B partners) and marketplace performance (including business planning and reporting, incentives and pricing optimization, and localization).

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supply acquisition: Own the B2C online acquisition funnel; manage driver approval and onboarding processes adopted by CS/BPO teams (including SOPs) and act as their point of contact; launch pilots with B2B partners end-to-end, from deal negotiation through onboarding, training, and activation
  • Supply growth, engagement, and retention: Own processes to keep B2C drivers active and productive (including communication mechanisms, CS knowledge base, and related tools); act as the key account manager for B2B partners by monitoring KPIs and providing operational and performance support to drive results.
  • Performance monitoring and deep dives: Set up and track weekly business KPIs; use data to understand trends, identify opportunities, and assess the impact of initiatives; own budget planning and performance tracking.
  • Pricing & incentives: Define and implement pricing and incentive strategies across driver segments and cities, leveraging a strong understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Project management and ideation: Lead cross-functional initiatives (e.g. with Growth Analytics, Product, Marketing, Legal) to drive supply growth and improve marketplace balance, including rewards programs, car branding initiatives, and product feature localization.

About you:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in tech startups, consulting, investment banking, or other high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally with exposure to zero-to-one initiatives. Nice to have: functional experience in sales, account management, program management, business intelligence, business modeling, or analytics.
  • Hands-on: You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and move fast to implement initiatives; when needed, you will call drivers, meet fleet partners, and visit hubs to get ground truth-not just work behind a screen.
  • Self-starter: You are comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments that require a test-and-learn approach and building from scratch, and you demonstrate a strong bias for action.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable getting into the weeds of data while maintaining a big-picture perspective; strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Executional excellence: Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
