Practice Area

The Risk & Compliance Practice provides strategic, transformational and technical offerings in risk and compliance. We take a comprehensive view which enables us to help our clients grow their businesses while staying ahead of key risks, anticipating regulatory shifts, and instilling ethical practices. Our offerings include, but also extend beyond: Compliance and Crisis Management, Cyber and Digital Risk, Credit Risk Management, Balance Sheet Optimization, Market & Commodity Risk, ESG, Risk Org, Ops and Operational Risk, and Supply Chain Risk.

What You'll Do

You will:

• Play a key role in driving the growth of the Risk & Compliance practice through effective case execution and client development, including leading client interviews and presentations.

• Engage in diverse topics such as Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Operational Resilience, Risk Governance, and Compliance Strategy.

• Tackle high-priority issues, performing comprehensive data gathering, analysis, and interpretation to address complex business challenges.

• Leverage quantitative and qualitative methodologies to extract insights and craft strategic recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with clients to identify their unique needs and challenges, tailoring customized solutions and maintaining active interactions with client team members and stakeholders.

• Develop and deliver clear, impactful findings and recommendations to both BCG teams and client stakeholders.

• Own individual project modules, consistently generating significant value for clients, and dynamically adjusting approaches based on evolving client needs.

• Lead and manage client team members, fostering robust relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Effectively manage project leadership expectations while mentoring and developing junior team members.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for exceptional talents to join us. You would typically have:

• 6-9 years of experience in risk & compliance, with proven expertise in leveraging risk technology, data analytics, and drive more informed, data-driven decision-making.

• Deep understanding of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices (e.g., COSO, ISO standards, GDPR).

• Proficiency in operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and risk governance, with strong awareness of evolving regulatory landscapes.

• Excellent communication skills; able to explain industry concepts in non-technical terms

• Excellent time, people, and project management skills

• Strong academic track record

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English

• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel frequently
