This role centers on curating and managing a visually sophisticated Instagram profile dedicated to architecture, urban environments, and everyday life in Milan. The project is a discreet, personal initiative that values visual intelligence, restraint, and intentionality over social media trends or marketing tactics. The selected creative will be responsible for both capturing and curating content, ensuring a coherent and refined feed that appeals to a visually literate audience. The engagement is initially for two months, with the possibility of extension based on fit and quality. The work is hybrid, requiring both on-site photography in Milan and remote curation, with minimal oversight and a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Capture original architectural and urban photography in Milan, focusing on everyday life and cityscapes
  • Edit images with a refined, minimalist aesthetic using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Curate and sequence images to maintain a coherent, intentional Instagram feed
  • Write concise, minimalist captions that complement the visual narrative
  • Post curated content 2–3 times per week, maintaining consistency and quality
  • Operate autonomously, making creative decisions with minimal feedback
  • Avoid influencer-style content and marketing-driven strategies, prioritizing visual substance

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience in architectural and editorial photography, with a strong portfolio
  • Advanced proficiency in natural light shooting and image editing (Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Demonstrated ability to curate and sequence images for a cohesive visual story
  • Strong sense of visual literacy, restraint, and composition
  • Experience managing and posting to Instagram or similar visual platforms
  • Excellent written communication for minimalist captioning
  • Based in or able to work regularly in Milan; hybrid on-site and remote work required
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions without frequent feedback
  • Commitment to a discreet, non-promotional approach
