Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual as
Sustainability Manager
. This position offers hands-on experience in sustainability analysis and reporting, focusing on lifecycle assessments (LCA), carbon footprint calculations, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and decarbonization planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    Lifecycle Assessments (LCA)
    to evaluate environmental impacts of products and services.
  • Perform
    Carbon Footprint of Product
    analyses using internationally recognized methodologies.
  • Develop and manage
    GHG Inventories
    following standards such as ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol.
  • Assist in preparing
    Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
    according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
  • Support the design and implementation of
    Decarbonization Plans
    for clients in various sectors.
  • Utilize tools such as
    SimaPro
    for environmental modeling and impact assessments.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability goals align with client objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Academic or professional experience in LCA, carbon footprint, and GHG accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with
    SimaPro software
    for environmental modeling is highly preferred (academic-level proficiency acceptable).
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 14040/44, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for sustainability.
