The Opportunity

We are looking for an Intern (STAGE/TIROCINIO) to join our Project and Program Management team within our Italian office.

Arup Project and Program Management team manages projects at different scales from product, building to a city level, throughout the world. Our understanding of the business case, design, tender and construction processes and our ability to bring relevant technical experience together with our communication skills to a project gives us the capacity to deliver projects of excellence that meet client requirements on time and within budget.

As a Project and Programme Intern at Arup, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to delivery and completion. You will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the management of a wide range of commercial, science, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, implementation of sustainable solutions in the built environment and the application of project management methodologies to real-world challenges.

This internship is an excellent stepping stone for those pursuing a career in project and program management within the engineering and construction industries.

As a Project and Programme Intern at Arup, you will:

• assist project managers with the preparation of presentations, project documentation, scheduling, progress and cost tracking, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget;
• gain exposure to best practices in risk management, quality assurance, and client engagement by engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration;
• participate in site visits, meetings, and workshops, offering a comprehensive insight into the practicalities of successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Design
• Good knowledge of Auto CAD
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite programs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Fluency in the English and Italian language.
