RINA is currently recruiting for a
Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria & Molise Certification Auditor
to join its office in Pescara, Italy within the
Mediterranean & Africa Certification
Division.

Mission
The role focuses on reviewing various documents, conducting audits, identifying findings, and contributing to the certification process related to the different certification schemes including safety, environment, energy and sustainability, with particular reference to the following Standards:

  • Management Systems ISO 45001, ISO 14001
  • Regulation for the verification and validation of the EMAS Environmental Declaration (CE/1221/2009)
  • ISO 50001 / UNI 11352, ISO 20121, ISO 14064, ISO 14067, ISO 14046, ISSC / Bioliquids and Biofuels, Emission Trading System (ETS)

Key Accountabilities

  • Document Review:

Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, and records, to verify compliance and accuracy.

  • Audit Result Definition:

Identify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non conformities, opportunity of improvement);

  • Report Generation:

Draw up comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for certification decisions.

  • Follow-Up Management:

Manage the follow-up process, including tracking non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring resolution and compliance.

  • Technical Review:

Conduct technical reviews of audit files and propose certification decisions based on thorough analysis.

  • Resource Performance Monitoring:

Monitor the performance of resources involved in the certification process, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Data Management:

Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in auditing, quality management systems, or certification processes, ideally within regulated industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of audit program management, document review techniques, and the implementation of management systems.
  • Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute audits, managing complex and large-scale audit activities across multiple services or sites.
  • Strong expertise in defining audit results, identifying non-conformities, and recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to generate detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations for certification decisions.
  • Experience in managing follow-up processes, tracking corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Expertise in conducting technical reviews and supporting certification decisions based on comprehensive audits.
  • Continuous commitment to maintaining qualifications and staying updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, particularly with large and complex contracts, fostering positive relationships and addressing technical concerns effectively.
