Job description
This 6-month internship, for a resource with an Italian bachelor's/master's degree in law or in legal sciences (or similar), will be focused on supporting and cooperating with the Legal and Compliance Team in legal, compliance and governance related matters, with a special focus on Funds' governance and corporate secretary activities.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Support the implementation of internal procedures and related fulfilments.
- Bank of Italy and Consob reporting.
- Support on SARA reporting.
- Support AML Team on KYC – AML of counterparties and passive AML DD on SGR/funds.
- Support on fulfilment of Data Protection Model and GDPR requirements.
- Support on SGR corporate secretary activities and funds' governance
- Support the Compliance Function and Internal Audit Function for audit activities.
- Support the 231/2001 Surveillance Body audit activities.
- Maintenance of the SGR Legal Claims Register and of the Delegated Powers Register.
The position will report to the Legal Manager (Operations Department) of the SGR.
Skills needed
- Italian degree in law or legal sciences (focus on financial markets regulation preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in both Italian and English, written and spoken
