Summary

The Project Engineer will lead our newly introduced strategic capital investment project through all phases, interacting with internal and external stakeholders on an international level. The Project Engineer will ensure the project delivery in a timely manner. The individual in this role will be exposed to the possibility of personal and professional growth under strong leadership guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational constraints
• Assists the business in identifying and defining the project requirements and necessary changes
• Identifies and mitigates technical risks, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Monitors project progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, including reporting on KPIs and milestones
• Provides project management leadership, technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities in support of the project and complex business problems within multiple engineering disciplines
• Develops innovative engineering solutions, which enhance physical plant infrastructures and permit/accommodate growth in manufacturing capabilities
• Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

Requirements

• Master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering
• Previous related experience in managing projects in an international manufacturing environment is preferred
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
