Aegis FSI is a recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Finance, Banking and Insurance market. On behalf of Consumer Credit Company, we are looking for a:

Finance Manager

The candidate will be responsible for leading the Bank Finance team, ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of accounting records, financial analyses, and regulatory reporting. The candidate will also oversee the monitoring and reporting of ongoing performance and deliver high-quality information to both local and central management in order to promote transparency and to support informed decision-making.

Main tasks:

  • Lead the Bank's Finance, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and Internal Control functions, making sure each area is appropriately staffed with employees possessing the necessary skills and competencies;
  • Serve as a key business partner on all Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Control matters;
  • Lead the month-end close, forecast, budget, and business plan processes, as well as the pricing strategy in collaboration with the central pricing team;
  • Support management decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial analysis and data, as well as leading ad-hoc business studies;
  • Manage all treasury activities, including the formulation of funding plans aligned with the Bank's risk appetite, oversight of liquidity and capital management, and supervision of debt issuance and securitization funding;
  • Act as the Bank's primary management contact for the independent Internal Audit team, while collaborating with local and central Internal Control, Compliance, and Risk functions to maintain a control environment fully aligned with corporate policies and local regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Prior extensive experience in the Italian Banking/Fsi industry, with in-depth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Solid background in financial planning, Italian accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting matters;
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach, committed and motivated to drive performance and deliver business results;
  • Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail, combined with a focus on problem-solving and strategic thinking;
  • Previous experience with finance systems such as Anaplan and SAP is considered a plus.
