HR Generalist

Job Objective

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and contribute to the overall success of our organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment for employees

Main Tasks

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and update the job descriptions; source, screen, and interview candidates; schedule and run interviews.
  • Keep up-to-date the applicant tracking system.
  • Assist in the negotiation of employment offers and the preparation of employment contracts.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the collection of documents, completion of paperwork and orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies and procedures.
  • Support the analysis of skills gaps and the implementation of the best strategy to fill them.
  • Schedule training sessions and workshops for employees, as well as maintain training records.

  • Gather and prepare HR related documentation needed to ensure compliance with labor laws, applicable regulations (es. data protection), company policies, as well as requirements for funded training programs.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. - Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

  • Prepare HR-related presentations and reports.

  • Support within day-to-day requirements and HR projects.

Main Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, as HR Generalist.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field.
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English language.
  • Availability to travel on a monthly basis (twice a month).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Problem solving attitude and proactivity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity.
  • Good knowledge of CCNL Metalmeccanico is a plus.
