Your role

Is your day successful if you can support our Customers and Partners in sustainability projects development? 
As an Energy Consultant, do you enjoy having a team of colleagues who inspire you to discover new ways of doing things or innovative sales processes, supporting you to chart the path to sustainability and energy transition?
We are looking for someone who loves to work with different teams and making things happen and who wants to drive culture change both externally and internally.
Do you have a technical background or engineering degree in the energy sector, preferably with knowledge of the Italian energy market, and regulatory mechanisms?
Do you know industrial applications on utilities, like compressors, heat exchangers, sensors, centralized control systems, etc.?
Would you like to join our Optimization Team in Italy?

What will you do?

You will be trained in the technologies that Atlas Copco develops to help its customers journey toward energy efficiency and sustainability, and then you will be expected to implement the sales and business development of these products and services.
You will create culture and awareness in Customers about energy efficiency opportunities, by using a proactive sales approach.
You will spend most of your time (about 70%) visiting Customers, either on-site or through virtual meetings, developing the Nort-East and Center regions (Tri-Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Toscana).
You will have to be able to analyze not only the compressed air system, but the customer's entire production process to understand their needs. Then you will read wiring diagrams, plant layouts and process diagrams.
You will develop energy assessments on customers compressed air systems to identify energy optimization opportunities to implement.
At Customers site you will see a wide range of processes and technologies (mechanical, electronic, Internet of Things, control systems, etc.), so an open-minded approach combined with a solid background will be the key to success.

What will help you to be successful?
  • Engineering degree or technical background in the industrial sector
  • Knowledge of the Italian energy market, regulatory mechanisms and energy market trends for industrial sector
  • At least 2 years of experience in services selling
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Able to work with different teams to drive culture change and innovation both externally and internally
