Position: Legal & Compliance Manager

Location: between Lecco and Monza/Brianza

Our client is a
leading manufacturing and distribution company in the agrifood sector
, committed to delivering high-quality products. We are currently seeking a
Legal & Compliance Manager to lead the function
and ensure that our client operates in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The role offers
1 day per week of smart working

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements

  • Conduct regular audits to identify any potential compliance issues and develop strategies to address them

  • Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and ensure that the company is in compliance with them

  • Provide guidance and training to employees on
    compliance
    and
    data protection
    matters

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that compliance is integrated into all business processes

  • Review
    contracts and agreements
    to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all legal and compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

  • Oversee the management of legal and compliance documentation, including contracts,
    policies
    , and procedures,

  • Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary

  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics to senior management

  • Conduct investigations into any reported compliance violations and recommend corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal or compliance role in structured companies

  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to contract manufacturing, such as FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with contract review and negotiation

  • Knowledge of risk management principles

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

The compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience; the position is offered at
managerial level (quadro) and does not include a company car
