Boutique 4-star luxury hotel in the heart of historic Rome

Hotel Monte Cenci is looking for a
Front Office Agent (Receptionist)
to join our front desk team.

You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a key role in delivering a warm, personalized experience in line with the high standards of our boutique luxury hospitality.

Main Responsibilities

As a Front Office Agent, your main duties will include:

  • Managing check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and courtesy
  • Welcoming guests and assisting them throughout their stay
  • Handling reservations (direct and through OTAs)
  • Providing local recommendations and concierge-style support (transfers, reservations, etc.)
  • Operating the
    Protel
    property management system and managing daily transactions
  • Promoting hotel services through upselling and guest engagement
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments
  • Resolving guest issues with discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • Previous experience in similar roles within luxury hotels or upscale hospitality settings
  • Excellent command of
    English
    (knowledge of a second language is a plus)
  • Familiarity with
    Protel PMS
  • Strong computer literacy (email, Office suite, internet tools)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays
