This collaborative ecosystem drives excellence in research, technological innovation, and sustainable development across the aviation and space sectors.

The Campania Aerospace District is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Space Department and contribute to ambitious national and international space projects within one of Italy's most dynamic aerospace hubs.

Role Description

The selected candidate will be involved in the technical and programmatic management of cutting-edge space projects, covering both upstream and downstream segments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical coordination of project partners
  • Monitor technical progress, identify risks, and define mitigation actions
  • Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and technical reports
  • Participate in project reviews such as PDR and CDR
  • Support the definition of mission and system-level requirements

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong technical background in the aerospace sector
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects and manage technical activities
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
  • Experience in mission analysis, including orbit design and coverage analysis
  • Experience in the development and management of system budgets
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards and systems engineering processes
