System Engineer – PIS Systems

TMC is looking for a System Engineer for a railway project: design, integration, and testing of PIS systems (audio/video, displays, automatic announcements) onboard trains, based on innovative technological solutions.

The role involves system requirements analysis and definition of technical specifications for PIS subsystems. The resource will serve as the technical point of contact, interfacing with clients, suppliers, and internal teams (hardware, software, and validation) to ensure the proper integration of solutions.

They will be responsible for coordinating system-level integration and testing activities, as well as providing support in drafting technical documentation (SRS, ICD, V&V Plan).

The role includes participation in testing and acceptance phases (FAI, FAT, SAT) and commissioning activities. Additionally, they will manage any non-conformities, collaborating on problem resolution during both development and post-delivery phases.

• Degree in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles in the railway sector.
• In-depth knowledge of PIS systems and related standards (EN 50155, EN 50126/8/9).
• Experience with modeling tools and requirements management (e.g., DOORS).
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., MVB, Ethernet, CAN, TCP/IP).
• Experience in RAMS or Safety.
• Familiarity with automated test and simulation environments.
