The Team

We are a leading software provider of Item Chain Management solutions to consumer brand, retail and industrial enterprises around the globe. Our software platform applies innovative data science to transform item-level data into valuable operational intelligence, helping organizations manage the entire life-cycle of billions of unique identities from source to sale to consumption.

 A Senior back-end developer works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires the evaluation of identifiable factors. Receive little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments.

Position Location - This role is available in Latam.

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Writing advanced programming code.

  • Reviewing updated software systems.

  • Attends both business and technical considerations when designing solutions to project/team or company related issues. 

  • Conceptualizing and generating infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed and analyzed.

  • Reformulating existing frameworks to optimize their functioning.

  • Testing such structures to ensure that they are fit for use.

  • Preparing raw data for manipulation.

  • Remaining up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements that will improve the quality of your outputs.

  • Demonstrates interest in improving the company's technical awareness, depth and use of technology across the business. 

  • Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development. 

What we're looking for:

Minimum requirements:

  • 4-6 years Java Backend experience (17 or higher), Java SE and Java EE applications 

  • Knowledge with data structures and design patterns

  • Proficient in Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot

  • ORM frameworks, APP Integrations, reactive programming

  • Experience with ReactJS

  • Software architectures, Microservices, N-Tier.

  • JVM performance optimization

  • AWS S3, Kinesis, RDS, Lambdas

  • PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL

  • DevOps Infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terragrunt, Terraform)

  • Big Data Processing via Streams or Batches

  • Rest, JPA, SQL/NoSQL, Junit 

  • Experience with highly scalable applications

  • Read, write, listen, and have the ability to establish a conversation in English.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
