Cybersecurity Operations Technology Expert

Reporting professionally to the Cybersecurity Operations Technology Manager and managerially to the Italy Cybersecurity Manager, the Cybersecurity Operations Technology Expert is responsible for fostering a high level of cybersecurity maturity across Ferrero's OT environments. This role supports the development of plans and coordinates the delivery of cybersecurity projects and services aimed at protecting industrial systems and ensuring production continuity.

This role will be based in our Alba offices, with the possibility of working remotely up two days per week.

As part of the Europe Hub, you will manage requests and needs originating from the region, planning activities and resources to continuously improve the cybersecurity posture of OT environments. In this role, you will implement initiatives aligned with the OT Cybersecurity Roadmap, focusing on increasing the level of protection and resilience of industrial environments and the supply chain.
You will lead periodic security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities across OT environments, identifying potential gaps and proposing improvements. Gathering data and metrics from OT systems will be essential to enable KPI evaluation and drive continuous improvement.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will define cybersecurity baselines, methodologies, and requirements for OT environments at both central and local levels, integrating security aspects into projects. You will also support training and awareness programs for OT users, helping to strengthen cybersecurity culture across the organization.
In addition, you will evaluate new vendors, technologies, and features related to OT cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with industrial needs and global standards. Your role will include providing recommendations to maintain and enhance Ferrero's approach to monitoring, identifying, and correcting cybersecurity activities in OT environments. 

You will bring your expertise in OT cybersecurity, backed by at least 3 years of experience in supporting and coordinating projects aimed at safeguarding industrial environments. Your background combines analytical and conceptual skills with a technical foundation in networking and infrastructure, enabling you to address the unique challenges of OT systems effectively.
You are familiar with key OT security solutions such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, network monitoring tools, endpoint protection, and privileged access management, and you understand how these differ from traditional IT security approaches. Your knowledge extends to industrial control systems, the Purdue Model, and international standards that guide security for industrial automation and control systems.
Holding a degree in Information Technology or a related field, you may also have professional certifications that demonstrate your expertise. Business-fluent English is essential for this role.
