Product Development Industrialization Specialist
YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Be part of cross-functional team working on Product Development (PD) delivering key activities to ensure a successful transition from concept to market.
Participate to the whole PD process to support product development with efficiency, cost-effectively, with focus on quality and risk management, and acting actively on industrialization.
The role involves working across Mantova and Verona.

YOUR MISSION
  • Participate actively on Product Development programs supporting project Tollgates achievement on time in full.
  • Participate from initial product concepts and design concepts to contribute with Design for Manufacturing and Design to Cost application.
  • Participate to cost estimation of equipment and baseline from initial design phase to final design.
  • Lead the Learning Curve cost definition and cost optimization planning with improvement actions and cost forecasts overtime.
  • Participate to risk assessment, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis DFMEA and lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis PFMEA.
  • Lead the Make or buy definition.
  • Define and validated assembling and testing procedures for workshop & customer plant activities, with a key focus on health & safety aspects.
  • Define the preparation of list of tools and utilities required for production, testing and validation in support to production team.
  • Participate to prototype and pre-series production to ensure the results forecasted.
YOUR PROFILE

Education:

  • Master Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering) or similar.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • CAD (Solidworks or similar).
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.

Language requirements:

  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • French is a plus.

Preferred experience and skills (please note: this role is open to junior and fresh graduate candidates):

  • Mechatronic skills / knowledge.
  • Production process and manufacturing technologies skills / knowledge.
  • Data management skills / knowledge (PowerBi is a plus).
  • Software and Excel automation skills / attitude.
  • Project management attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in cross-functional and international teams.
  • Proactive, strong problem solving/analytical attitude.
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and determined.
  • Robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) skills / knowledge is a plus.

Location:  Verona and Mantova - based on candidate's location.
