Guest Relations Assistant (Lower Salento)

What are we offering?

  • The role offers a big variety of tasks: you will be responsible for assisting guests remotely and in person during their stay at our properties. This includes replying to their messages and calls, assisting them to solve any issues they may have in order for them to enjoy an amazing holiday experience and making sure they turn into loyal guests.
  • We've got many homes, but no office... which means you can work from anywhere (stable internet connection required). However, we require you to be based south of Lecce (Italy), in order to be able to visit our properties on average twice a week.
  • The job is part time in winter and full time in summer. The workload varies throughout the year with the summer season being the busiest.
  • Benefits include relatively flexible working hours and free holiday accommodation for your and your family
  • You will be employed by our Italian subsidiary company with a regular employment contract.

What are we asking for?

  • We like working with curious and ambitious people, who are not afraid to make mistakes and to try new things, and who know that by giving more you'll get more.
  • This role requires you to interact with many people, to always smile, even in difficult situations, and to be able to solve problems proactively. Getting positive feedback from the guests is the best gratification.
  • We're tech-savvy and require very good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office). We work with Google Drive, and many other apps.
  • We work while others are on holiday (and vice versa). This means you might be asked to be available on evenings and weekends, and to relax on Tuesday morning.
  • Excellent knowledge of both English and Italian, both written and oral are required and crucial. An excellent knowledge of French and/or German are a strong plus. (You will need to be able to send messages and make phone calls with tourists from all nationalities.)
  • A car and a driver's licence are required.
  • We don't require any specific work experience. However, if you've worked in customer service or in hospitality, this is a plus.
