The resource will be integrated in our Production team of the Settimo Torinese Polo Tecnologico.

DRIVE YOUR FUTURE 
Become a key player in our Production Team and contribute to improving our processes. The person will be placed within the Production area, specifically in the mini-factory that includes the Packaging, Vulcanization, and North Cell departments. The person will work closely with the Mini-factory Manager, a key figure in managing production activities and coordinating resources. The role involves a strong cross-functional component, with daily interactions with other departments.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN  
You will collaborate with your tutor in:  

•    Support in production planning and control: Assist in the organization of daily activities and in the monitoring of times and resources used in the production processes.

•    Process optimization: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.

•    Interdepartmental collaboration: Work in conjunction with other departments, such as HSE, quality and maintenance, to ensure a seamless flow in the production chain.

•    Support in the implementation of new projects: Participate in continuous improvement projects or in the implementation of new methodologies in the production area.

•    Develop and implement new tools (digital OEE, WMS, digital PME room, etc).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

•    Student of Industrial Engineering (last year preferably), Production, or related.

•    Fluency in English and Italian.

•    Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

•    Data Analysis: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to generate useful insights and make process adjustments is essential, especially for creating indicators and management reports.

•    Knowledge of Digital Production Tools: Basic understanding or willingness to learn tools like OEE, WMS, or digital planning systems. These tools are increasingly vital in modern production environments.

•    Technical Documentation Skills: Ability to create and update operational documentation (OPL, SOP, IT), with attention to detail and an understanding of processes to ensure accuracy and clarity in manuals and procedures.

•    Continuous Improvement Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts and methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. This knowledge enables the identification and proposal of process improvements.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel): Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables and charts, are essential for data analysis and managing indicators.
