Responsabilità
* Basic and Detail Design (drawings and/or technical specifications) of hardware schematics of electronic cards exploited by the sensors/gauges produced by the Instrumentation and Robotics Business Unit (BU); * Basic and Detail Design (code and/or technical specifications) of firmware deployed into electronic cards used within the sensors/gauges produced by the BU; * Basic and Detail Design (code and/or technical specifications) of software deployed in both hardware and software PLCs; * Development and testing of laboratory prototypes to verify theoretical hypotheses regards techniques to be used in current/future gauges produced by the BU; * Research (by reading technical articles, books, datasheets, web pages, and publications) new technologies and/or techniques to be used in metrology applications; * Standardization, improvement, and innovation of existing/new solutions for the gauges produced by the BU; * Time schedule, cost, and quality of the assigned jobs; * Follow up and coordinate the external partners involved (designer and/or supplier) to achieve the targets of quality, time, and cost; * Link with project managers and project leaders to gather the information to design the optimal solution and share it with the BU team; * Link with team members to design the optimal mechanical/architectural solution;
Requisiti tecnici
* Electronics (preferred) or other technical engineering degrees; * Preferred minimum 3 years experience in HW&FW development; * Knowledge of electronic CAD software; * Experience with microcontrollers and/or FPGA development suites; * Experience with networks and Fieldbus protocols (Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, Modbus-TCP, RS232, …); * Preferred programming language (in order of importance): C/C++/CodeSys/C#/VHDL; * Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
